Robert and Susan Wed at Crest Mountain

The view was absolutely spectacular! With a view that stretched for miles, Robert and Susan said their wedding vows before a gathering of family and friends atop Crest Mountain near Asheville, North Carolina. The wedding brought family together from as far away as Mexico and as near as Georgia. Robert amd Susan met at the University of Arkansas-Monticello about five years ago. Their love for the outdoors led to their discovery that they indeed had a lot in common. Robert is a forester and Susan is a wildlife biologist! Needless to say, they have the perfect marriage! The staff of M7 Solutions (Crest Center) did an amazing job in coordinating and directing the event. The beautiful wedding music was provided by Cafe String Quartet (Trio Ensemble). The ceremony was a perfect reflection of the love that Robert and Susan have for each other. As a part of their ceremony, they chose to create a lasting reminder of their wedding day through a Sand Ceremony. Both sets of parents took turns pouring two different colors of sand into a beautiful etched glass container. This "foundation sand" represented the foundation that Robert and Susan brought to their wedding day. Then, Robert and Susan poured two additional colors of sand into the container - the sand representing their seperate lives prior to their wedding day. The filled container will always be a reminder of their wedding day and will also symbolize their lives together - which, like the grains of sand, can never be seperated again. Robert and Susan, I was honored to be a part of your day. You are a wonderful couple and I truly wish you a blessed journey together! Enjoy life!
